Proving that those little die-cast toys we loved as kids have great longevity, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour is rolling around the world and heading to Michigan again this summer.
The tour is back bigger and better than ever with an all-new search for a custom vehicle worth immortalizing in 1:64 scale Hot Wheels diecast toy. The Hot Wheels design team will travel across the country, joined by celebrity judges and special guests at every stop, and select finalists from a new crop of amazing builds according to the website.
Last year, the tour stopped in Michigan as they headed out on a global trek on their search. Hot Wheels Legends Tour made stops in 11 countries on five continents in 2021. They even did a live stream from Jay Leno’s Garage. Custom car builder Lee Johnstone of Somerset, England was crowned the winner and named a Hot Wheels Legend for his 1969 Volvo P1800 gasser “Ain’t No Saint”.
